Dmitri Anosov

Dmitri Anosov was a Russian mathematician who lived from 1906 to 1968. He discovered special types of mathematical shapes called manifolds, which are surfaces that can be curved and twisted but never break apart or intersect. He also studied how shapes behave when they are moved around in space. Anosov's discoveries were very important for developing theories of complex shapes and movement in mathematics.
