ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Doctor of Business Administration

Imagine you are already very smart and have learned a lot about business. But you want to learn even more! You want to become a super expert and teach others how to make businesses better. So you go to a special school called a university and you keep learning even more about business.

After a few years, you learn so much that you become a "Doctor of Business Administration" or "DBA" for short. That means you are now the "boss of bosses" when it comes to business. You know everything there is to know about making a business work well. You can teach other people how to be great business people too.

Overall, being a Doctor of Business Administration is like being a really, really smart person who knows everything about business and teaches others how to be smart too.
