Dominant minority

Dominant minority means that even though a group of people makes up a small portion of the population, they still have influence and power over how things are done. They are usually from a higher social or economic status than other people in the population. For example, if a small group of rich people make up only 5% of the population, but they control and influence the decisions of the other 95%, they can be considered a dominant minority.
