ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Domino toppling

Okay, kiddo! So, you know how sometimes we play with these really cool rectangular tiles that have different numbers on each end? They're called dominoes! Well, some people like to play a game where they stand up all of their dominoes in a long line. But instead of playing the game, they just like to watch what happens when they all fall down.

It's kind of like building a big tower of blocks, but instead of knocking it over yourself, you just set off a chain reaction. One domino falls into the next one, which falls into the next one, and so on. It's like a big wave of falling dominoes!

People who like to do this are called "domino topplers." They spend a lot of time carefully setting up their dominoes in just the right way, so that when they knock over the first one, they all fall down in a really cool pattern. Sometimes they even create pictures or designs with the way they set up the dominoes!

It's kind of like creating your own mini earthquake. Just like how an earthquake can cause lots of things to fall down, a chain reaction of falling dominoes can be really exciting to watch. When they all fall down, it makes a really satisfying sound too!

Does that make sense, kiddo? Do you want to try setting up some dominoes and see if you can make them all fall down in a cool pattern?
