ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Double bottom line

Double bottom line means thinking about success for both people and the planet. It means considering both the financial effects and the environmental effects of decisions. For example, a company might decide that it wants to make a profit (financial bottom line : $$$) for shareholders, but also reduce its environmental impact (social bottom line : 🌎). Double bottom lines help communities, businesses and governments create goals and make decisions that will benefit people and the environment.
