ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Double-sided RAM

Do you know what RAM is? It's a part of a computer that helps it run faster. It's like the computer's brain.

Now, picture a piece of paper. One side is blank, and the other side has some writing on it. Double-sided RAM is like a piece of paper that has writing on both sides.

In a computer, the RAM stores the information that the computer needs to work. With regular RAM, the computer can only write and read from one side at a time. But with double-sided RAM, the computer can write and read from both sides at the same time.

This means that the computer can access more information faster, which makes it run even faster. Think of it like being able to read two books at the same time instead of just one.

So double-sided RAM is just like a piece of paper with information on both sides. It helps a computer run faster by allowing it to access more information at once.
