Dowris Hoard
Once upon a time, a really long time ago, some people in Ireland buried a bunch of really cool and fancy things in a place called Dowris. There were all sorts of things that they used in their everyday lives, like cups and plates and even weapons!
Many, many years went by, and nobody knew about the fancy things that were buried in Dowris. But then, one day, some people were digging around in that area and they found a bunch of the buried things!
These things were really special because they showed us what life was like a really, really long time ago. We could see what people used to eat and drink out of, and what weapons they used to protect themselves.
People were really excited about the Dowris hoard because they learned so much about history from it!
