ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Drago Doctrine

The Drago Doctrine was a rule made a long time ago that said you can't use force or violence to get money that someone owes you. It means that one country can't just go attack another country to get back money that someone in that country owes them.

Think of it like this: imagine you lend your friend some money, but they don't pay you back. If you were allowed to just go punch them until they give you the money, that would be very bad and unfair, right? The Drago Doctrine says that countries can't do this to each other either. They have to find peaceful ways to solve disagreements and disputes like grown-ups.
