ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Draught excluder

Okay kiddo, have you ever felt a cold breeze coming into your room from underneath your door? Sometimes it feels like a spooky ghost is trying to sneak in, right? But don't worry, because that's where a draught excluder comes in!

A draught excluder is like a fluffy pillow that you put at the bottom of your door to stop the cold wind from getting in. It's a long, thin sausage-shaped pillow that you can easily make at home with some fabric and stuffing (or you can buy one from the store).

You lay the draught excluder on the floor against the bottom of your door, and the fluffy material will block any gaps, cracks, or spaces that might let in cold air. So if you're feeling cold at night and can't find the source, you should check to see if you have a draught excluder blocking cold air under your door!
