ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Dreidel

A dreidel is a little toy that Jewish kids play with during a holiday called Hanukkah. It looks like a spinning top and has four sides with different Hebrew letters on each side. The letters are called Nun, Gimel, Hey, and Shin.

When you play with a dreidel, you spin it and wait for it to land on one of the four sides with a letter. Then you do what the letter says! If it lands on Nun, you get nothing. If it lands on Gimel, you get to take all the treats in the middle of the game. If it lands on Hey, you get to take half the treats in the middle. And if it lands on Shin, you have to put a treat back in the middle!

It's a fun way to play a game and get some yummy treats during the Hanukkah holiday.
