Drifter (drill)

Okay kiddo, a drifter is a special type of drill used to make holes in very hard rocks or underground mines. It's like a superhero drill that helps the miners dig through really tough rocks.

The drifter has a long metal rod called a drill bit that spins around and around very fast. When it's spinning, it's like a small tornado that can dig through the rocks. The drill bit is also made of a very hard and tough material, like a warrior's sword, to help it cut through even the hardest rocks.

To use the drifter, the miners put it in a machine that holds it in place and pushes it against the rock. The machine also turns the drifter to create the hole. This way, the miners don't need to use all their strength to create the hole.

It's a very powerful tool and very useful for miners who need to create tunnels or make pathways through hard rocks. But, because it's so powerful, it's also important that people use it carefully and safely, so that no one gets hurt.
