ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Dual economy

Hey there kiddo! So, a "dual economy" is where there are two different types of economies in one country.

The first economy is a modern and developed one, where people have lots of nice things like smartphones, cars, and fancy homes. This economy also has jobs that pay good money and plenty of opportunities for education and career growth.

The second economy is a more traditional one, where people may not have access to these same things. These folks might work in agriculture or other manual labor jobs, and may not have access to the same education and job opportunities as those in the modern economy.

So basically, there are two different groups of people in the same country - some who are doing really well economically, and others who are struggling a bit more. It's important to work towards making sure everyone in the country can access the same opportunities and benefits!
