ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Dummy round

Hi there! A dummy round is a type of bullet that doesn't actually have gunpowder in it, so when you shoot it, nothing happens. It's used for practicing things like loading and unloading your gun, or for practicing shooting without actually making any noise or shooting anything. So, it's like a pretend bullet that helps you get better at using your gun without actually shooting anything for real. Does that make sense?
