ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Duophonic

Imagine you have two people playing music together, but instead of playing the same notes at the same time, they each play different notes that work together to make one big sound. That's kind of like what duophonic means in music.

Duophonic is a way of making music with two voices or instruments that are separate from each other but harmonize together. This means that one sound can be split into two different parts that are played separately, but still sound like they belong together.

For example, if you had a keyboard that had a duophonic setting, you could play one note with your left hand and a different note with your right hand, and they would work together to create a richer, more complex sound.

It's like having two people playing different instruments that sound good together - they might not be playing the exact same thing, but when they come together, it sounds beautiful!
