Dusk

Dusk is the time of day when the sun goes down and it starts to get dark. When the sun starts to go down in the sky, it looks like it is turning a reddish-orange color, and that's how dusk gets its name. At dusk, it's still a little bit light outside, but it's dark enough that you can start to see stars in the sky. After dusk comes dark, which is the time of day when it's completely dark.
