Dutch East India Company

The Dutch East India Company was a company from the Netherlands that bought and sold goods from other countries in the 1600s and 1700s. The company traded all sorts of items, like spices, silk, and gold, with countries they explored in Asia and Africa. They also brought goods back to the Netherlands and then sold them. The Dutch East India Company was very successful and made a lot of money.
