ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Duumviri

Duumviri are two people who have a special job or role in Ancient Rome. They were like leaders, and were responsible for making sure certain things were taken care of. They were usually elected by the people, and served for a year. They also had the power to make decisions on behalf of the Roman government. So they were kind of like mayors or governors, but a little different since they were only elected to serve for one year.
