Duvalier dynasty

A long time ago in a country called Haiti, there was a leader named François Duvalier. He was the president of Haiti and he was in charge for a long time. He was so powerful that he became like a king and his family ruled over the country for many years.

When François Duvalier died, his son Jean-Claude became the new leader. People called him "Baby Doc" because he was very young when he became president.

The Duvalier family had a lot of power and control over the country. They made people do what they wanted and didn't let anyone else have a say. Many people were afraid of the Duvaliers and their government.

But eventually, the people of Haiti got tired of living under their control and they protested and fought for change. They wanted a government that was fair and didn't favor one family over everyone else. Finally, the Duvalier family was forced to leave and the people got the change they wanted.

Today, the Duvalier dynasty is remembered as a period of time when one family had too much power and control over the country. The people of Haiti have moved on and are working hard to make their country a better place for everyone.
