ECHO (European Commission)

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes grown-ups work together to make decisions that affect a lot of people? Well, there are a bunch of grown-ups in Europe that do that too, and they're called the European Commission. They make rules that help all the countries of Europe work together better and be friends.

One thing the European Commission does is keep an eye on how businesses behave. They want to make sure that companies don't cheat people or hurt the environment. So, the European Commission created a system called ECHO that helps them do that.

ECHO stands for European Consumers, Health, and Food Executive Agency. It's like a group of helpers that the European Commission uses to check that companies are following the rules. They do things like inspect food to make sure it's safe to eat, check that toys aren't dangerous for kids to play with, and make sure that doctors and medicines are all doing what they're supposed to do.

So, ECHO helps the European Commission to make sure that everyone in Europe is safe and that companies are following the rules. And that's important to make sure everyone can live happy and healthy lives!
