ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Early modern human

Early modern humans were a type of human who lived a long time ago, before your grandma or grandpa were born. They were very similar to humans like us today, but also a bit different in some ways.

One big difference was that they didn't have things like smartphones or computers to help them communicate or learn new things. Instead, they had to use their own brains and talk to each other in person to share information.

Another difference was that they didn't have things like cars or planes to travel around the world. They had to walk or run to get where they needed to go, and sometimes even had to use boats to cross water.

But even with these differences, early modern humans were still very smart and capable. They learned how to make tools and weapons to help them hunt and survive, and they even created things like art and music to express themselves.

Overall, early modern humans were a special group of people who lived a long time ago and helped shape the world we live in today.
