Earthship

An Earthship is a type of house that is self-sustaining and environmentally friendly. It works like a mini ecological system and uses natural energy, like the sun and wind, to keep the house warm and cool. It also stores rainwater for drinking and uses rocks for insulation to help keep the house snug. These houses have gardens which provide food and can even have solar panels on the roof to produce electricity. So all of the energy and resources that an Earthship needs are all naturally coming from the Earth – from the sun, wind and soil, making it self-sustaining!
