Eating disorder not otherwise specified

Okay kiddo, an eating disorder not otherwise specified (EDNOS) is like having some of the problems that come with an eating disorder, but not all of them.

When someone has an EDNOS, they may have really strong feelings about their body and food, and it can be hard for them to eat enough. Sometimes they might eat too much or too little but not enough to be considered anorexic or bulimic.

EDNOS can cause a lot of problems in someone's life. It can make them feel sad, anxious, or angry, and it can also affect their health. But just because someone has EDNOS doesn't mean they can't get help. There are doctors, therapists, and other people who can help them learn to have a healthy relationship with food and their body.
