Eccentric reducer

Imagine you have two pipes, a big one and a smaller one. They need to connect to each other but the big one is too wide for the smaller one to fit inside. That's where an eccentric reducer comes in!

An eccentric reducer is a special piece that helps connect two pipes of different sizes. It looks like a cone and has two openings - one big and one small.

When you use an eccentric reducer, you fit the big end of the cone onto the big pipe and the small end onto the smaller pipe. The cone shape means that the two pipes will be gradually getting smaller from the big end of the reducer to the small end.

However, the reducer isn't perfectly in the middle of the two pipes. Instead, it's what we call "eccentric". This means that the center of the large end and the center of the small end are not exactly lined up.

This might sound strange, but it's actually really useful! By shifting the reducer off-center, it makes sure that any liquid or gas flowing through the pipes flows in one direction. This prevents any blockages or clogs from forming where the two pipes meet.

So, an eccentric reducer is like a special cone piece that helps connect two different-sized pipes together, it gradually makes the bigger pipe smaller until it matches the smaller pipe, and it also helps the flow of liquid or gas move in one direction.
