Ecological assessment

Ecological assessment is like a check-up for nature. Just like your mom takes you to the doctor to make sure you're healthy, scientists go out into nature to check on the plants and animals living there.

They look at everything living in an ecosystem (a place where living things like plants and animals interact with each other and their environment). They count how many different kinds of animals are there, what kinds of plants are growing, and how much water is in the area. They also look at the air quality and the temperature.

By doing this, scientists can figure out if an ecosystem is healthy and if the living things inside are getting what they need to survive. If there's a problem, like too much pollution or too few plants, they can come up with a plan to fix it and keep the ecosystem healthy. That way, all the animals and plants can keep living in peace and harmony.
