Economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic

COVID-19 is causing a lot of trouble in the world. One of these troubles is that it has affected the economy. The economy is like an engine for a car. It helps things move and work.
The pandemic has caused many people to be out of work, and a lot of businesses have had to close their doors. This has meant that people have less money to spend and buy things, which means companies don't make as much money as before. In other words, the pandemic has made things slow down in the economy, and it's had a big effect on people's lives. This is why governments have been providing extra money to help people cope with the economic problems caused by the pandemic.
