Economic patriotism

Economic patriotism means trying to help your own country by buying things made by people in your country. So, when you go shopping with your parents, you can look for things that were made by people who live in your country instead of buying things that were made in other countries far away. This helps the people who live in your country because it gives them jobs and they can earn money so they can buy things they need. It's like helping your friends or neighbors by buying things from them instead of from strangers. When you are being an economic patriot, you are making your country a little bit stronger and helping the people who live there.
