Education in Denmark

Okay, kiddo, let me tell you all about education in Denmark!

In Denmark, kids start going to school when they are 6 or 7 years old. But before that, they can go to a kindergarten where they can play and learn new things.

Denmark has something called "Folkeskole" which is a free school for everyone. It's like a public school here where the government pays for it all. At "Folkeskole" you learn math, languages, history, geography, and some other things. You go to school from Monday to Friday, and you also have some homework to do. It's important to learn and study hard so you can do well in your exams.

After "Folkeskole," you can choose to keep going to school or start working. If you keep going to school, you can choose between different kinds of high schools. Some focus on a specific subject like music, art, or sports. Others offer a broader education with many different subjects.

Denmark also has some universities where you can go to study after you finish high school. At university, you can learn even more about the subjects you are interested in.

But the most exciting part about education in Denmark is that it's all free! The government pays for everything, including books, materials, and even food in school. This means that every kid in Denmark can get an education no matter how rich or poor they are. Isn't that amazing?

So, that's a brief explanation of education in Denmark. Do you have any questions, little one?
