Egerton Gospel
So, a long long time ago, there was a man named Jesus who people believed was really special and had a lot of important things to say. He had some followers who wrote down what they remembered about him in books called gospels.
One of these gospels is called the Egerton Gospel. It was written a long time ago on some really old pieces of paper called papyrus, and it was found in Egypt. The Egerton Gospel has some stories about Jesus that weren't in the other gospels, so it's pretty special.
Some people who study the Bible think that the Egerton Gospel might have been written by the same person who wrote the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John. But nobody is totally sure about that.
Anyway, the Egerton Gospel is just one of the many gospels that people use to learn about Jesus and his teachings.
