Egypt–Israel relations
Okay kiddo, so Egypt and Israel are two countries that are neighbors in the Middle East. A long time ago, they used to really not get along and were even at war with each other. But then, in 1979, they signed something called a peace treaty which means they agreed to stop fighting and start being friends.
Now, just because they're friends doesn't mean they agree on everything. Sometimes friends have disagreements, right? Well, Egypt and Israel still have some issues they don't agree on, like who should have control of certain areas of land. But they're trying to talk things out and work together to find solutions that will make both countries happy.
