Eisenhower dollar

The Eisenhower dollar is a type of coin that was made in the United States a long time ago. It was made to honor a man named Dwight D. Eisenhower who used to be the president of the United States.

The Eisenhower dollar is very big compared to other coins you might have seen. It is about the same size as a silver dollar that was made a long time ago. It is also made of a special kind of metal called copper-nickel instead of silver.

On one side of the Eisenhower dollar, you can see a picture of Eisenhower's head. He is wearing a hat and looking straight ahead. On the other side, there is a picture of an eagle flying through the air with its wings spread wide.

The Eisenhower dollar was made for a short time, from the years 1971 to 1978. Some people really like to collect them because they are unique and special. They are also a good way to learn about history and the people who made an impact on the world.
