Electrodeless lamp

An electrodeless lamp is a special kind of light bulb that works without the usual metal wires inside of it that we see in traditional light bulbs.

You know how when you turn on a lamp or light bulb, electricity runs through those tiny wires inside the bulb and causes it to glow? Well, in an electrodeless lamp, there are no wires touching the light bulb to make it glow.

Instead, the electrodeless lamp uses something called induction. Induction is when you move a magnet near a coil of wires and it produces electricity in those wires.

In the electrodeless lamp, there is a special coil of wires that is hidden inside the bulb. Outside of the bulb, there is another coil of wires that is attached to a special box that plugs into the wall. When you turn on the box, electricity flows through the coil of wires outside of the bulb, which creates a magnetic field. That magnetic field then generates electricity in the coil of wires inside the bulb, which then makes the gas inside the bulb glow, creating light.

So, in summary, the electrodeless lamp is a special light bulb that uses a hidden coil of wires inside the bulb and another coil of wires outside of the bulb attached to a box to create a magnetic field that generates electricity which makes gas inside the bulb glow and emit light.
