Ellingham diagram

An Ellingham diagram is a diagram that shows which chemical reactions will occur and which will not at different temperatures. On the diagram, temperatures are shown on the vertical axis and the energy needed for a reaction to happen is shown on the horizontal axis. Reactions that occur easily have low energy and occur at lower temperatures, while reactions that don't occur easily have higher energy and happen at higher temperatures.
