Emissions from the Monolith

Okay, so you know how cars have engines and they burn gasoline to make them go vroom vroom? Well, that can make something called emissions.

Now imagine a really big engine that's like a giant tower. That's kind of what a monolith is. It's a really tall structure that has a lot of machines inside it that make things like electricity and heat.

But just like a car, these machines can also make emissions that can be bad for the air we breathe. So people need to make sure the monolith has special things called filters that can clean the emissions before they go outside.

That way, the monolith can keep doing its job without hurting the environment. Kind of like wearing a mask to make sure you don't get sick or make anyone else sick!
