Encarnación (sculpting)

Encarnación is like playing with clay to make something special, like a toy or a statue. But instead of using just any clay, sculptors use a special kind of clay that doesn't dry out and can be shaped and molded over and over again. This special kind of clay is called plastilina or plasticine.

The sculptor starts by molding the clay into a basic shape, like a ball or a cylinder. Then they start to move the clay around and shape it with their fingers and tools to create the final shape they want. This can take a lot of time and patience because they need to make sure every detail is just right.

Encarnación also involves sculpting a face or a body out of the clay. Sculptors use pictures, models, and even real-life people to help them create a realistic looking sculpture. They need to make sure the proportions are correct, and that the sculpture looks like the person or object they are trying to create.

Once the sculptor is happy with the shape and details of the sculpture, they might add color or other finishing touches to make it look even more special. This might involve painting, adding hair or other materials, or even adding small details like jewelry or clothing.

The final result of encarnación is a beautiful sculpture that can be put on display for everyone to see and admire. And every time you look at it, you can appreciate the hard work and skill that went into making it.
