Encyclopédistes

Encyclopédistes were a group of people in France a long, long time ago who wanted to gather all the knowledge in the world and put it in one big book called an encyclopedia.

They believed that knowledge was very important and that everyone should have access to it, not just rich people or fancy scholars. They wanted to make sure that even regular people could read and learn about all kinds of things like science, history, and art.

The encyclopédistes worked really hard to collect all this information and write it down in the encyclopedia. It was a huge project that took many years, and lots of people helped with it.

In the end, the encyclopedia became very popular and was used by many people to learn new things. The encyclopédistes changed the way people thought about knowledge and helped make education more accessible to everyone.
