End-user license agreement

An end-user license agreement (or EULA) is a contract between you and a company that makes software. The company gives you permission to use their software, and you agree to follow their rules. For example, the company might say that you can only install the software onto one computer. If you break the rules in the agreement, then the company can take away your permission to use their software.
