Energy in the United States is all the energy that is used or produced in the country. It comes from many different sources, like oil, natural gas, wind, and coal. Oil and natural gas are liquids and gasses that are found underground and are turned into energy by burning them. Wind energy is produced by turning the wind into electricity by using windmills. Lastly, coal is a solid rock that is also burned to make energy. All these different energies are turned into electricity that powers our homes and businesses.
