Engineering administration means managing engineering projects and processes. It is a lot like being a manager at a company. At an engineering company, the engineering administrator helps plan what engineering projects need to be done, who will do them, and how much time and resources are needed to do the projects. They also help make sure that projects are done on time and within budget. They also help the engineers with paperwork, like getting permits and signing contracts. Basically, they help make sure that engineering projects get done correctly and in a timely manner.
