England is a country in Europe that is part of a bigger group of countries called Great Britain. It is bordered by Scotland to the north, Wales to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the south and east. England is known for being the birthplace of the English language, Shakespeare, and the Beatles. It is also home to lots of amazing historical sites such as Stonehenge and the Tower of London. England is known for its rainy weather and its yummy tea and crumpets!
