English longbow

An English longbow is a really big bow made out of wood that people from England used a long time ago to shoot arrows. It's so big that it can be as tall as a person! People would use the English longbow to hunt for food or to fight in battles. It was really powerful because it could shoot arrows really far and pierce through things like armor. To use it, you would have to pull back the string while holding an arrow and then let go so that the arrow could fly out really fast towards its target. It takes a lot of practice to use an English longbow well, but people from England were really good at it and used it for many years.
