ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Engolo

Engolo is a game that people in Angola like to play. It's kind of like soccer, but there are some differences.

Instead of using a big field, like in soccer, engolo is usually played on a smaller, circular area. The players are also usually barefoot, instead of wearing special shoes like soccer players do.

One of the cool things about engolo is how the player kicks the ball. The ball is usually made from a dried-up fruit called a kikoba. Instead of kicking the ball with their toe like soccer players do, engolo players kick with the inside of their foot or their ankle. This is known as a "trick."

The aim of the game is to get the ball into the other team's goal, but the players also like to do fancy tricks with the ball while they play. Some of the tricks include balancing the ball on their head or passing the ball back and forth between their legs.

Overall, engolo is a fun game that combines fancy ball tricks with teamwork and competition.
