ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Enterprise architecture planning

Enterprise architecture planning (EAP) is like creating a blueprint for a big project - like building a house. It means making a plan by figuring out what your goal is, breaking it down into pieces and understanding how each piece can fit together to eventually build the big project. For example, if you were building a house, you would have to figure out things like what type of materials to use, how to lay out the rooms, and how to make sure everything fits together well. Enterprise architecture planning is the same, but for a company or organization instead of a house. You figure out what type of technology you need, what systems need to work together, and how to make sure everything works well together so you can do what you need to do.
