ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Enumeration

Enumeration is when you count things. It's like counting how many cars are in the parking lot or how many apples are in a basket. It's a way to keep track of how many of something there is.

Let's say you have a bag of marbles. You want to know how many marbles are in the bag, so you pour them out and count them one by one. That's enumeration!

Sometimes, people use enumeration to make a list. For example, you might make a list of all the animals you know or all the colors in a rainbow. Making a list is a good way to keep track of information so you can remember it later.

In everyday life, we use enumeration all the time without even realizing it. We count our money, count our steps, and count how many friends we have. It's a simple and important skill that helps us understand the world around us.
