Environmental hermeneutics is the study of how people interact with nature, and how they value and interpret different parts of nature differently. It looks at how people use nature, as well as how they think and talk about it. It looks at questions like: How do we show appreciation for the environment? What factors influence how we treat and interact with nature? What makes particular places special to us? Environmental hermeneutics encourages us to think about our relationship with the natural world and the ways in which we can take care of it.
