Environmental issues with energy are when we use energy from sources that can hurt the environment. For example, when we use energy from burning coal, it creates pollution that damages the air we breathe and the water we drink. When we use energy from oil and gas, it can cause spills that damage wildlife and land. To help the environment, we should use energy from clean sources such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power, which don't create pollution or spill anything.
