Environmental pricing reform

Environmental pricing reform is when governments or businesses change the cost of things to help protect the environment. This happens by making it more expensive to buy or do things that will harm the environment and less expensive to buy or do things that help the environment. For example, the government might place a tax on the use of petrol to make it cost more. This would encourage people to use forms of transportation that use less fuel and are less damaging to the environment.
