Enzyme inhibitors are like tiny locks, that stop certain molecules in your body from fitting together. Enzymes are special molecules that help other molecules (like food or medicine) fit together in special ways that make them do something useful. Enzyme inhibitors stop two molecules from fitting together, so they can't do anything.
