Ervil LeBaron

Ervil LeBaron was a man who lived a long time ago and did some very bad things. He used to tell people that he was speaking for God and that he knew what God wanted them to do. But really, he just wanted to have a lot of power over people and control their lives.

Ervil wanted to start his own religion and be the leader of it. He even started his own group called the Church of the Lamb of God. But he didn't really care about being a good leader or helping people. He just wanted to get more and more followers so he could have more power.

One of the things Ervil did that was really terrible was called "blood atonement." He said that if someone didn't follow his rules or listen to him, they deserved to die. He even had some of his followers kill other people because of this idea.

Ervil's group was really scary and dangerous. People who were part of it were afraid to leave because they thought they might get hurt or killed. In the end, Ervil got caught and was sent to prison for ordering some of his followers to kill other people.

It's important to remember that even though Ervil LeBaron was a bad person, not everyone who believes in God or belongs to a religion is like him. Most people are kind and want to help others, not hurt them.
