Estates of the Netherlands Antilles

The Netherlands Antilles was a group of islands in the Caribbean that belonged to the Netherlands until 2010. Even though it is not part of the Netherlands anymore, people still own property on these islands, and that property is called an "estate of the Netherlands Antilles". This means that the property still has to be taken care of and managed, even though the Netherlands no longer owns it. This is why people still need to pay taxes to the islands where their property is located, and be sure to keep up with any rules or laws that apply to their estate. That way, they can keep living on their property or rent it out to others.
