ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Estuary English

Estuary English is a way of speaking English that some people in England use. It is a mixture of different accents, such as Cockney (from London), and words from different languages, like French and African languages. People who speak it often mix up their words and sound a bit like how someone from America might talk with a British accent. It's used mostly in the area near the River Thames, which is why it's called estuary English.
